Help Clean Up Trash in our Watershed on May 13th
Board Member Paul Denoncourt will coordinate the effort this spring as part of the Town-wide Hometown Cleanup Day. Will you volunteer a couple of hours to pick up trash in your neighborhood? HPWA volunteers have collected roadside trash in the watershed the past few years, around 30 bags were filled last year.
Help cleanup this year. Call or text Paul at 207-460-3031 or email him at pmdmdrmg@gmail.com if you want to participate to let him know where you will cleanup and for more information. (Preferably before May 20th so he can list the places being cleaned when he picks up the bags.)
Paul will obtain and distribute the purple trash collection bags. He has arranged for the filled bags to be picked up in the same place as last year, on the east side of Little Herring Pond Rd. You can pick up trash anytime on Saturday or even a day or so before if more convenient. There will be separate smaller bags to collect ‘nip’ bottles separately.
Thanks for helping remove the litter from our beautiful community.
