Report of the 2024 Nominating Committee

At our upcoming Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 22nd at 7 pm, our Association Membership will be charged with electing Class B Directors to serve for the next two years. Class A Directors will be up for election in 2025.
The Nominating Committee (Chair, Trish O’Brien and Committee Members Geri Williams, Chris Lewis and Barbara Solimini) is nominating the current directors who are sitting as “Class B” Members for re-election, namely:
Brian Harrington – currently serving as Treasurer, Member Water Quality Committee
Jack Kedian – Co-chair Water Quality Committee
Ramona Krogman – currently serving as Vice President, Coordinator Herring Count
Donna Nolan – currently serving as Secretary
Martha Sheldon – Chair Membership Committee, Member Communications Committee
Don Williams – currently serving as President, Co-Chair Water Quality Committee
and, nominating a new director to the Board of HPWA: Theresa Dorr – currently a member of Membership Committee.
Additional nominations may be made from the floor at the annual meeting in accordance with our By-Laws.
The following current Directors were elected in 2023 and will continue sitting as Directors until our 2025 Annual Meeting:

Melissa Ferretti – Member-at-Large
Tess Goldmann – Chair Education Committee
Jerry Levine – Chair Invasive Species Committee, Member Water Quality Committee
Trish O’Brien – Chair Nominating Committee, Member Social Committee
Tom O’Brien – Chair Safety Committee, Member Water Quality Committee
Beth Sobiloff – Chair Communications Committee, Member Education Committee
Geri Williams – Chair Outreach Committee, Member Communications Committee, Member Water Quality Committee, Member Education Committee
