at the Little Red School House, Long Pond Road

Put together an owl nesting box for your yard or make a unique gift for someone special. This is a fun family activity, children are welcome.

As a special addition this year we will have Ava Zeol, of New England Wildlife Centers who will bring two owls, an eastern screech and  barn owl. She will be there during the day to educate attendees on her owls up close and personal. You don’t have to build an owls box to come meet the owls, you can stop by the Little Red School House from 10am to noon or 1pm to 3pm to see and learn about them. If needed there is extra parking at Elmer Raymond park nearby.

At the workshops pre-cut wood and all the materials will be provided for a donation of $40, payable by cash, check, credit cards or venmo. Bring a battery powered drill if you have one, or one will be provided, along with helpful assistants. Choose the morning session any time between 10am – noon, or afternoon session any time between 1 – 3pm. Walk ins will be welcome, but you can preregister to ensure your box as we sold out early last year.
